* Special Marine Warning for...

  Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City...
  Open Waters from Winthrop Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid
Lake...

* Until 415 PM CDT.

* At 249 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 nm west of Valparaiso to 7 nm south of Gary,
  moving northeast at 45 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high
           winds and hail. Small craft could capsize in suddenly
           higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Marina Shores at Dune Harbor around 255 PM CDT.
  Burns Harbor around 300 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northwestern
