Synopsis for the southern California coast and Santa Barbara
Channel including the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary
and National Park...at 20Z, or 1 PM PDT, a 1028 MB surface high
was located 100 NM W of Point Conception with a ridge building
along the Pacific Northwest coast. A 993 MB surface low was 900 NM W
of Seattle. Moderate west to northwest winds will continue across
the outer and northern waters and into the Santa Barbara Channel
through at least tonight.
