.DISCUSSION...

Critical fire weather conditions will persist into this evening, with
RHs progged to bottom out around 10%. While ERCs have improved, the
warm weather, dry conditions, and 20-25mph 20ft winds will maintain the
threat for wind-driven wildfires. Cirrus clouds should clear to the east
of the wildfire site by late afternoon, with a brief uptick in wind
speeds possible. Conditions improve after sunset as winds slowly diminish
and shift to the northwest, but nocturnal recovery will only be fair, at
best. Another very dry day is ahead Sunday with RHs around 12-13% in the
afternoon, but 20ft winds around 15 mph will largely mitigate additional
fire weather concerns.
