FOR EAST CENTRAL HENDERSON...SOUTHEASTERN BENTON AND NORTHERN DECATUR
COUNTIES...
At 157 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Darden, or near
Natchez Trace State Forest, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Camden, Parsons, New Johnsonville, Decaturville, Darden, Perryville,
Busseltown, Jeannette, Wilkinstown, I-40 Near The Tennessee River,
Mount Tabor, Sugar Tree, Garrett, Beacon, Hickory Forks, Cozette,
Bible Hill, Mount Lebanon, Chesterfield, and Nathan Bedford Forrest
State Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for west
Tennessee.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
storm shelter or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
