.Discussion...
Dry and hot as deep high pressure builds over Florida.
Southwesterly flow will delay development of the east coast sea
breeze, resulting in a collision from roughly Pierson to Orlando
and down the Kissimmee River today, and pinning the sea breeze
near I-95 tomorrow. Afternoon winds SE 10-15 mph behind the ECSB
both days, and SW-W 5-10 mph today increasing to 10-15 mph
Thursday behind the WCSB. Afternoon highs in the M-U90s (U80-L90s
near the coast today), approaching 100 Thursday in Osceola County
and the adjacent parts of surrounding counties. A brief shower or
lightning storm can`t be ruled out along the sea breeze collision
in the late afternoon.
Min RHs 35-40 pct inland and 40-50 pct along the I-95 corridor
today, drop to 30-35 pct and remain around 40-50 pct along the
I-95 corridor. Can`t rule out min RHs dropping to 25-30 pct inland
and 35-40 pct near I-95 Thursday. Smoke dispersion will be Very
Good to Excellent.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
