.Discussion...
The high pressure ridge axis shifts south from Central Florida
today to South Florida Wednesday, remaining to the south until
the high is shunted seaward Friday as a cold front approaches.
Light overnight and early morning winds from the south today and
southwest Wednesday shift to the south to southeast 10-15 mph
behind the sea breeze, closer to 10 mph well inland each
afternoon. Showers and lightning storms possible across the
interior late this afternoon and evening in vicinity of the sea
breeze collision, then dry conditions forecast Wednesday.
Afternoon highs in the U80-L90s today and 90-M90s Wednesday. Peak
heat indices M90s today and U90-100 Wednesday.
Min RHs 35-45 pct inland west of I-95 with afternoon smoke
dispersion Generally to Very Good today and Wednesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
