...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN AND TODD
COUNTIES THROUGH 530 AM CDT...

At 515 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Elkton to 13 miles southwest of Russellville to
near Guthrie. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oak Grove, Elkton, Fort Campbell, Clarksville, Guthrie, Pembroke,
Trenton, Lafayette, Allensville, and Herndon.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 in Kentucky between Mile Markers 76 and 92.
 Pennyrile Parkway between Mile Markers 1 and 5.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for south central
Kentucky.
