...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MOORE...SCOTLAND...
WEST CENTRAL CUMBERLAND AND HOKE COUNTIES THROUGH 1000 PM EDT...

At 913 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Laurinburg, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Raeford, Fort Liberty,
Aberdeen, Maxton, Antioch, Hope Mills, and Wagram.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central North
Carolina.
