...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN HENRY COUNTY AND THE
CITY OF MARTINSVILLE IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for north central
North Carolina...and south central and central Virginia.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN ROCKINGHAM...NORTHWESTERN CASWELL AND SOUTHWESTERN
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTIES AND THE CITY OF DANVILLE...

At 938 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Dry Fork to near Danville to near Lawsonville,
moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Danville...
Reidsville...
Wentworth...
Yanceyville...
Bethel...
Providence...
and Mayfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for north central
North Carolina...and south central and central Virginia.

Prepare immediately for DAMAGING WINDS. For your safety, move to an
interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Stay away
from windows.

size, as well as reports of any wind damage, including downed trees
