Snow may be heavy at times with convective snow showers that develop. An isolated thunderstorm is also possible, particularly this afternoon and evening. Conditions dry out late Tuesday into early Wednesday before shower chances return for the remainder of the week. && .IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard- like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are likely.
