...The National Weather Service in Shreveport LA has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas...

  Sabine River Near Hawkins affecting Smith, Wood and Upshur
  Counties.

  Sabine River Near Gladewater affecting Gregg, Smith, Wood and
  Upshur Counties.

For the Sabine River...including Hawkins, Gladewater...Minor
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Hawkins.

* WHEN...From late Tuesday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of pastures and
  boatramps.  Move livestock and equipment to higher ground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 18.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Sabine River near Hawkins is expected to rise
    above flood stage early Wednesday morning and continue rising
    to 26.1 feet Friday evening. Additional rises are possible
    thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    27.1 feet on 03/25/2012.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN...From Wednesday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding to continue with
  oil field operations curtailed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 24.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Sabine River near Gladewater is expected to
    rise above the 26 foot flood stage Wednesday morning and near
    29.4 feet Friday evening. Additional rises are possible
    thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    29.2 feet on 03/04/1985.
