...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 500 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN DICKINSON...GEARY...SOUTHEASTERN RILEY...WESTERN
MORRIS AND WEST CENTRAL WABAUNSEE COUNTIES...

At 437 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near White City,
moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Junction City, Herington, Grandview Plaza, White City, Dwight,
Parkerville, and Latimer.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 295 and 321.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
