.A STRONG COASTAL STORM WILL AFFECT THE DOWN EAST COAST TODAY
THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...

.A POWERFUL COASTAL STORM WILL BRING A PROLONGED PERIOD OF STRONG
NORTHEAST WIND AND LARGE SEAS TO THE AREA THROUGH HIGH TIDE EARLY
WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE SOME OVERWASH AND MAY
LEAD TO SOME MINOR COASTAL FLOODING AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH
TIDE.

* COASTAL FLOODING...OVERWASH IS LIKELY AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH
  TIDE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF MINOR COASTAL FLOODING.

* TIMING...AROUND THE TIMES OF HIGH TIDE EARLY THIS MORNING
  THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING. HIGH TIDES ALONG THE DOWNEAST
  MAINE COAST ARE AROUND 4 AM THIS MORNING...4:30 PM TUESDAY
  AFTERNOON AND 5 AM WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...BEACH EROSION AND MINOR COASTAL FLOODING ARE
  POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.
