REMARKS...

ANOTHER WARM AND WET MONTH OCCURRED IN SEPTEMBER. THE AVERAGE
MONTHLY TEMPERATURE WAS 60.3 DEGREES OR 2.3 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. NO
DAILY RECORD TEMPERATURES OCCURRED DURING THE MONTH.

RAINFALL WAS WELL ABOVE NORMAL. 4.97 INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN
SEPTEMBER AND WAS 2.92 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. A DAILY RECORD RAINFALL
OCCURRED ON SEPTEMBER 4. A RECORD RAINFALL OF 3.73 INCHES OCCURRED.
THE OLD RECORD WAS 1.49 INCHES SET IN 1912. THE MONTHLY RAIN TOTAL
WAS THE 6TH WETTEST SEPTEMBER.
