...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR A PORTION OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS HAS BEEN
CANCELLED. HEAVY RAIN NOW APPEARS TO BE HEAVIEST OVER THE COASTAL
WATERS...AND WEAKENING AS SHOWERS MOVE ONSHORE. SOME LOCATIONS ON
THE IMMEDIATE COAST MAY STILL BE ABLE TO PICK UP AROUND A QUICK
INCH OF RAIN WITH THE MOST INTENSE CELLS BEFORE THEY WEAKEN.
THIS COULD RESULT IN SOME VERY LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING ISSUES IN
PARTICULARLY FLOOD-PRONE AREAS. HOWEVER...THE THREAT NO LONGER
SUPPORTS KEEPING THE WATCH IN PLACE.

MEANWHILE...THE FLOOD ADVISORY IN BRAZORIA COUNTY WILL BE ALLOWED
TO CONTINUE AS MODELED STREAMFLOW IN THE ADVISORY AREA IS STILL
HIGH...AND SOME OF THIS RAIN FELL IN THE SAME AREA THAT SAW
SIGNIFICANT RAINS YESTERDAY AND IS PARTICULARLY VULNERABLE AT THIS
TIME.
