...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM PST FOR SOUTH
CENTRAL VENTURA COUNTY...

AT 456 PM PST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
INDICATE A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING OVER THE SPRINGS
FIRE BURN AREA...WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN OVER THE NORTHERN PORTION OF
THE BURN AREA NEAR CAMARILLO SPRINGS. THE STORM WILL CONTINUE TO
SLOWLY DRIFT TO THE NORTHEAST...BUT WILL LIKELY REDEVELOP ACROSS
SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE BURN AREA. FLASH FLOODING WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY IF SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
THUNDERSTORM CONTINUE TO REDEVELOP. RAINFALL RATES OF A HALF AN INCH
PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

RESIDENTS AND MOTORISTS IN AND BELOW RECENTLY BURNED AREAS SHOULD BE
ALERT TO FLASH FLOODING AND DEBRIS FLOWS WHICH MAY BLOCK ROADS AND
CULVERTS.
