A river flood warning remains in effect for the Cypress Creek...East Fork San
Jacinto...Spring Creek...West Fork San Jacinto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or other news sources for further updates.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The West Fork San Jacinto In Humble...
* until Monday evening...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0245 PM Thursday...the stage was 53.2 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 49.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 53.3 feet this evening through
  Friday morning then a slow fall over the weekend.
* At 53.3 feet...Major lowland flooding continues with water is in homes on Lake
  Lane West and Southshore Drive in the Bellau Woods subdivision and Homes in
  the Treasure Cove subdivision and along Aqua Vista Drive begin flooding.

* until Saturday evening...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0245 PM Thursday...the stage was 159.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 157.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 159.4 feet late this
  afternoon then slowly fall below flood stage Saturday evening.

  The East Fork San Jacinto Near New Caney...
* from Friday evening to Saturday morning...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0300 PM Thursday...the stage was 15.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to crest near 19.1 feet just above flood stage
  Friday evening...then fall over the weekend.
* At 19.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage.

* Flood stage is 95.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 95.2 feet this evening...then fall
  below flood stage overnight.
* At 95.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding begins as flow escapes into secondary
  channels.
