THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN MARTIN COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA...

* UNTIL 330 AM EDT

* AT 129 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED PERSISTENT HEAVY RAIN DUE
  TO THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY
  AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN. AN ADDITIONAL
  ONE TO TWO INCHES IS EXPECTED BEFORE THE RAIN TAPERS OFF.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  STUART...PALM CITY...PORT SALERNO...JENSEN BEACH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
