Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Taunton MA
419 PM EST Sun Feb 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...
After mainly clear skies tonight, clouds will be on the increase
during the day Monday ahead of an approaching warm front from the
southwest. This front will likely bring a period of showers late
Monday into Monday night. The warm front will lift north of our
region and behind it unseasonably warm temperatures are expected
Tuesday and Wednesday, with record warmth likely on Wednesday.

Winds will be out of the south/southwest Monday through Wednesday
with gusts around 25 mph on Wednesday.

The minimum relative humidity on Monday will be 65 to 75 percent,
but 70 to 80 percent on Tuesday and Wednesday.

OUTLOOK...Thursday through Sunday...

A cold frontal passage late Wednesday night and early Thursday will
bring the chance for rain along with cooler temperatures. Dry high
pressure follows on Friday, then a storm system approaching from the
southwest next weekend could bring more unseasonable warmth and the
chance for rain.
