Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
456 AM EST Tue Feb 21 2017

.DISCUSSION...High pressure ridging into the Carolinas from the
coast will provide a moist onshore flow across the region.
There will be a chance for showers across the CSRA and western
Midlands beginning late this afternoon...spreading east across
the Midlands tonight into Wednesday. The higher coverage should
be across the northern Midlands and the Upstate. A weak wedge
may develop across the northern Midlands and Upstate.

East transport wind 5 to 10 mph this morning will become
southeast 10 to 15 mph this afternoon. Min RH will range from
near 30 percent north to around 50 percent south this afternoon.
Widespread fog is likely tonight.
