Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
509 AM CDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...
Cold front stalled in the region will bring some risk of
thunderstorm activity this afternoon in northern and central fire
districts before spreading to the north overnight as the cold
front lifts north. Mixing heights should be fairly high the next
two days before becoming lower. Transport winds should be light
today mainly out of the southwest before picking up in advance of
the next cold front. Wednesday should be dry during the day before
another strong cold front and widespread thunderstorms move in
late Wednesday night through Thursday. Some patchy fog can not be
ruled out tomorrow morning, especially across eastern fire
districts.
