NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PORTLAND OR
230 PM PDT THU MAY 26 2016

...BELOW NORMAL DAYTIME TEMPERATURES THROUGH SATURDAY...
...MUCH WARMER FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK...

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...ONSHORE LOW-LEVEL FLOW WILL STRENGTHEN
TONIGHT AND FRIDAY AS AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH DROPS SOUTH INTO THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST. THE MAIN ENERGY FROM THE TROUGH MOVES NORTH AND

SHOW A WARMER AND DRIER PATTERN DEVELOPING MEMORIAL DAY AND HOLDING
THROUGH AT LEAST THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.

COUPLE OF DAYS. DAYTIME TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN A FEW DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL THROUGH SATURDAY...BUT ANY PRECIPITATION SHOULD BE SPOTTY AT
BEST. THE ONSHORE FLOW STARTS TO WEAKEN SUNDAY AS THE REMNANTS OF
THE UPPER TROUGH MOVE EAST. LONGER RANGE CHARTS SHOW A WARMER AND
DRIER PATTERN STARTING MEMORIAL DAY AND HOLDING THROUGH MID-WEEK.
THE WARMEST DAYS LOOK TO BE TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY.
