Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
646 AM CST Sat Feb 24 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Although southerly winds will increase rapidly from the south as a strong low pressure
system moves into the area from the west, showers and thunderstorms will also begin to rapidly
increase during the day, with additional heavy rainfall possible. Additional rainfall will also
redevelop Sunday, mainly across portions of northern Louisiana, south of Interstate 20, where the
frontal boundary will rest from today. A dry day across the area will finally occur Monday, however, rainfall
will once again return on Tuesday, and may continue into late in the workweek.
