ORANGE ECC DISPATCH-
DISCUSSION FOR ORANGE ECC DISPATCH
137 PM PDT TUE AUG 22 2017

WEAK LOW PRESSURE OFF THE CENTRAL CALIFORNIA COAST WILL KEEP HIGH
TEMPERATURES FOR INLAND AREAS NEAR AVERAGE THIS AFTERNOON. SLIGHTLY
COOLER FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES
INLAND THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THIS MAY BRING SOME MID-LEVEL
CLOUDS...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE MOUNTAINS EACH AFTERNOON...BUT WITH
PRECIPITATION CHANCES QUITE SMALL. HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHWEST
STATES AND GREAT BASIN WILL INCREASE TEMPERATURES FOR INLAND AREAS
TO NEAR AVERAGE ON FRIDAY, AND 5 TO LOCALLY 10 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE
FOR SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY. THE MARINE LAYER AND WEAK ONSHORE FLOW
WILL KEEP HUMIDITIES HIGHER FOR COASTAL AREAS INTO THE WESTERN
VALLEYS.
