...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A WEATHER DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED FRIDAY AND SATURDAY AS THIS
WEATHER SYSTEM TRANSITS THE AREA. ANY STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE HIGH
BASED WITH LITTLE IF ANY PRECIPITATION. GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS MAY BE A
CONCERN AS WELL. ON TUESDAY ANOTHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA
AND STRONG WESTERLY WINDS MAY CREATE CRITICAL FIRE CONDITIONS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INLAND THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
WILL BRING ABUNDANT MID AND HIGH CLOUDS TODAY WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE
OF SHOWERS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND UPPER DESERTS. ANY SHOWERS COULD
PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS TO 35 MPH. SLOW INLAND WARMING FOR SATURDAY WITH
GREATER INLAND WARMING FOR SUNDAY AND MONDAY UNDER HIGH PRESSURE.
FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY...A STRONGER TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL
MOVE INLAND ALONG THE WEST COAST BRINGING COOLING...DEEPENING OF THE
MARINE LAYER...AND STRONG GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS. WEAKER WINDS AND MODEST WARMING FOR NEXT THURSDAY AND
FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING INCREASING CLOUDS AND COOLER
CONDITIONS TO THE REGION TODAY AND SATURDAY. GIVEN THE DRIER NATURE
OF THE ATMOSPHERE...VIRGA SHAFTS AND ISOLATED DRY THUNDERSTORMS WITH
GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND
PORTIONS OF SOUTH-CENTRAL ARIZONA LATER TODAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED AGAIN SATURDAY...WITH THE BEST CHANCES
FOR WETTING RAINS OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS NORTH AND EAST OF
PHOENIX.
