...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

UNSEASONABLY WARM WEATHER IS FORECAST THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND
WITH RECORDS EXPECTED TO BE SET IN MANY LOCATIONS AROUND THE REGION
AGAIN TODAY. A PATTERN CHANGE EARLY NEXT WEEK WILL ADD MORE
COMPLEXITY TO THE FORECAST AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM BRINGS A PERIOD
OF GUSTY WINDS AND COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

HOT AND DRY WITH LOW HUMIDITIES AGAIN ON THURSDAY WITH WEAK OFFSHORE
WINDS. HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL BEGIN TO WEAKEN ON FRIDAY WITH
COOLING AND HIGHER COASTAL HUMIDITIES BEGINNING TO SPREAD INLAND.
ONSHORE LOWER LEVEL FLOW WILL STRENGTHEN SUNDAY AND MONDAY FOR
GREATER COOLING AND STRONGER AND GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS
AND DESERTS. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A MODERATE TO STRONG SANTA
ANA WIND EVENT NEXT MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH GUSTY WINDS AND
LOW INLAND HUMIDITIES. STRONGEST WINDS WOULD MOST LIKELY SURFACE
TUESDAY MORNING.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES WELL ABOVE
SEASONAL NORMALS TODAY INTO THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY WEEKEND.
DESERT HIGHS WILL RISE INTO THE MID TO UPPER 80S AND APPROACH
RECORDS IN SOME LOCATIONS BOTH TODAY AND FRIDAY. HUMIDITY LEVELS
WILL STAY RELATIVELY LOW, WITH MINIMUM RH VALUES OVER THE DESERTS
TYPICALLY RUNNING BETWEEN THE LOW TEENS AND 20 PERCENT. LESS WIND IS
EXPECTED TODAY AS COMPARED TO YESTERDAY ALTHOUGH THEY WILL FAVOR THE
EAST MUCH OF THE DAY, ESPECIALLY OVER SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA. WINDS
BECOME VERY LIGHT ON FRIDAY.
