...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE IN THE NORTHWESTERN PART OF THE COUNTRY
WILL BRING A DRY SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW TO THE AREA THROUGH THE WEEK.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR NORMAL THROUGH MIDWEEK BEFORE FALLING
BELOW NORMAL FOR THE LATTER HALF OF THE WORKWEEK AS THE TROUGH
DEEPENS. BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN
WILL COMBINE WITH CRITICAL FUELS AND DRY CONDITIONS TO BRING RED
FLAG CONDITIONS TO ESMERALDA AND NYE COUNTIES.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

COOLER THAN NORMAL WEATHER WILL CONTINUE INLAND THROUGH THIS
WEEKEND...WITH A DEEP MARINE LAYER WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS. BREEZY
WEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP EACH AFTERNOON/EVENING THROUGH MOUNTAIN
PASSES AND ALONG DESERT MOUNTAIN SLOPES THROUGH THE PERIOD.
OVERNIGHT RELATIVE HUMIDITY RECOVERY WILL BE GOOD THROUGH THE
WEEK...WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS. SLIGHTLY WARMER WEATHER AND A MORE
SHALLOW MARINE LAYER EARLY NEXT WEEK.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

OVERNIGHT MOISTURE SURGE FROM THE GULF OF CALIFORNIA BOOSTED AREA
DEWPOINTS AND HUMIDITIES TODAY AND WILL BE SLOW TO THIN THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON. BEST CHANCES FOR THUNDERSTORMS TODAY WILL LIE MOSTLY
ACROSS THE TYPICAL HIGHER TERRAIN...WITH ONLY THE SLIGHTEST CHANCES
FOR A STORM TO POP OVER THE SOUTH-CENTRAL AZ ELEVATIONS. MOISTURE
WILL REMAIN RICH OVER THE AREA...PERSISTING STORM CHANCES FOR THE
REST OF THE WORK WEEK. HUMIDITIES TO FALL INTO THE 15-30 PERCENT
RANGE ACROSS THE LOWER DESERTS EACH DAY...WITH HIGHER HUMIDITIES
OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN EAST OF PHOENIX. OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES WILL
MAINLY BE IN THE GOOD TO EXCELLENT RANGE.
