...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

EXPECT DECREASING NORTHERLY WINDS AND GRADUALLY INCREASING
TEMPERATURES OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. AFTERNOON HUMIDITIES WILL
FALL NEAR 5-15 PERCENT FOR THE DESERTS, 20-30 PERCENT FOR THE
MOUNTAINS; AND RECOVER TO 25-30 PERCENT FOR THE DESERTS AND
50-60 PERCENT FOR THE MOUNTAINS. NO CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER IS
EXPECTED THROUGH THE PERIOD.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

GUSTY SANTA ANA WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS, FOOTHILLS AND THE INLAND
EMPIRE AGAIN TODAY, STRONGEST IN SAN BERNARDINO, RIVERSIDE, AND
ORANGE COUNTIES. WINDS WILL RANGE FROM 15 TO 25 MPH WITH ISOLATED
GUSTS OF 30-40 MPH. GUSTY SEA BREEZE WINDS WILL DEVELOP IN THE
AFTERNOON. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL BE 10 TO 15 PERCENT
WITH SEVERAL HOURS OF NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS IN
THESE AREAS, MAINLY NORTH OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY. THE WINDS WILL EASE
ON WEDNESDAY WITH SOME RECOVERY IN RELATIVE HUMIDITY, BUT DAYTIME
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH FRIDAY.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

A LARGE UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE
SHAPE OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST EARLY THIS WEEK, KEEPING HIGH
TEMPERATURES COOLER THAN NORMAL AND THE LOWER DESERTS QUITE DRY.
MINIMUM RH VALUES OVER THE LOWER DESERTS WILL MOSTLY RANGE FROM 8
TO 12 PERCENT TODAY AND WEDNESDAY. THE LOW WILL GRADUALLY DRAW
MOISTURE NORTHWARD AND INTO THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS, RESULTING IN A
SLIGHT CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE
HIGHER TERRAIN EAST OF PHOENIX BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. WINDS BOTH
DAYS WILL STAY ON THE LIGHT SIDE.
