.DISCUSSION...Clear skies will prevail through the overnight period,
and winds aloft will increase some before sunrise Thursday. Exposed
southwest faces near the wildfire could observe some occasional
increases in wind speed and gusts to 20 mph, primarily after 0300
local time. Otherwise, the more sheltered areas will observe lighter
southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph through dawn. Humidity should recover
to just above 60 percent by early Thursday morning. The
strengthening winds aloft will mix to the surface late Thursday
morning and into the afternoon. Expect southwesterly speeds of 12 to
18 mph with some gusts to 25 mph. A few higher gusts will be
possible on exposed southwest slopes. Temperature will reach the low
to mid 70s Thursday afternoon as humidity falls to near 20 percent.
