.DISCUSSION...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE PLAINS WILL BRING INCREASING CHANCES
OF SHOWERS TODAY INTO MONDAY MORNING AS IT LIFTS INTO THE UPPER
MIDWEST. THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND THIS EVENING, BUT THE MORE SIGNIFICANT RAINS SHOULD
NOT MOVE INTO THE AREA UNTIL LATER TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING.
ABOUT 0.25" TO 0.50" OF RAINFALL IS FORECAST FOR TONIGHT, AND AN
ADDITIONAL 0.50" FOR MONDAY. THE MORNING MODELS ARE BEGINNING
TO COME IN, AND THE NEW DATA SUGGESTS THE THREAT OF THUNDER FOR
THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT IS VERY LOW. MIGHT BE TAKING OUT THE
THUNDER FOR AN UPDATE LATER TODAY.
