.DISCUSSION...

MAIN FIRE WEATHER CONCERN TODAY WILL BE THE INCREASED WIND SPEEDS
FROM THE NORTH THIS MORNING INTO EARLY AFTERNOON. NORTH WINDS
AT EYE-LEVEL WILL BE NEAR 10 TO 15 MPH AT TIMES WITH PERIODIC
HIGHER GUSTS TO NEAR 20 MPH THROUGH NOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO
DECREASE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. HOWEVER, WITH DRIER AIR IN PLACE -
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL FALL TO NEAR 20 PERCENT THROUGH THE
MID AFTERNOON. THE COMBINATION OF NEAR 20 PERCENT HUMIDITY VALUES
AND NORTH WINDS NEAR 10 MPH WILL CREATE ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON. RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL CLIMB THROUGH
THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT WITH WINDS AT OR LESS THAN 5 MPH FROM
THE NORTH. SKIES ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN CLEAR OVER THE NEXT 24
HOURS.
