.DISCUSSION...Showers will continue through the night with a
slight chance thunderstorms as a disturbance off the coast shifts
to the southeast. Isolated showers are expected to continue into
early Saturday morning before a brief period of drying occurs in
the afternoon. The next system will begin to impact the region by
Sunday morning into early afternoon with light to moderate rain
and continuing through the evening. This disturbance will be slow
to move through, bringing moderate to heavy rain to the area by
Monday morning. Gusty winds will also accompany this system. Rain
will taper to showers by Monday evening with showers remaining
through Tuesday. Some of these showers may come in the form of
thunderstorms. Conditions are forecast to ease by midweek.
