This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and adjacent counties in
central Maryland and northern Virginia as well as the District of
Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Showers and thunderstorms are likely late Sunday afternoon through
Sunday night. Some of these storms may be capable of producing
heavy rainfall that could result in flash flooding.

Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for eastern West Virginia,
northern and central Virginia, and central and western Maryland
with the exception of Garrett County.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Isolated severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and large hail
are possible mainly along and south of U.S. Highway 33 in
Virginia and east of Interstate 81 in the central Shenandoah
valley.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Another round of showers and thunderstorms is likely Sunday
afternoon through Sunday night. The potential exists for some of
these storms to produce flash flooding. The greatest risk for
flash flooding is along and west of Interstate 81 from northwest
Virgina to Augusta county.

Limited spotter activation may be needed this afternoon into early
evening.
