This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of East Arkansas...
the Missouri Bootheel...North Mississippi...and West Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Dangerous heat will continue across the Mid-South through early
evening. An Excessive Heat Warning and Heat Advisory are in
effect for a good portion of the area. Heat indices of 105 to 112
degrees are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Heat indices of 105 to 109 degrees are possible again on Thursday
for portions of the area. The current heat advisory may be
expanded into tomorrow.

A cold front is forecast to move across the Mid-South Thursday
night into Friday, bringing a chance for a few strong to severe
thunderstorms. Damaging winds and heavy rainfall/localized flash
flooding are the main threats.

Spotter activation may be possible Thursday night and into Friday.
