...THUNDERSTORMS MOVING NORTH TOWARD THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL
WATERS...

A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS JUST SOUTH OF THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL
WATERS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS FROM
BAFFIN BAY OUT TO 60 NM AROUND 11 AM CDT...CONTINUING TO MOVE
NORTHWARD THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON AND AFFECTING ALL OF THE MIDDLE
TEXAS COASTAL WATERS AND BAYS. WIND GUSTS OF AROUND 40 KNOTS HAVE
BEEN REPORTED EARLIER THIS MORNING WITH THE ACTIVITY AROUND THE
PORT ISABEL AREA.

MARINERS SHOULD PREPARE FOR THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING FREQUENT
LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 40 KNOTS AND HEAVY RAINFALL
REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN 1 NM THROUGH THE LATE MORNING
AND EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS. IN ADDITION...THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY
OF THE STRONGER STORMS PRODUCING WATERSPOUTS. THE ACTIVITY IS
EXPECTED TO DIMINISH BY LATE AFTERNOON.
