THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A GALE
WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 10 PM EDT SATURDAY.

* WINDS AND SEAS...WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 30 KNOTS WITH
  FREQUENT GUSTS TO AROUND 35 KNOTS WILL DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND
  CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY NIGHT THEN BECOME NORTH AROUND 20 KNOTS
  ON SUNDAY. SHORT PERIOD SEAS WILL BUILD TO NEAR 7 FEET LATE
  TONIGHT AND UP TO 10 FEET SATURDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS FOR WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 25
KNOTS AND GUSTY...WHICH WILL PRODUCE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR
SMALL CRAFT. INEXPERIENCED BOATERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING
SMALLER VESSELS...SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

THE GALE WARNING IS FOR WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 25 TO 30 KNOTS
WITH FREQUENT GUSTS TOP AROUND 35 KNOTS. OPERATING A VESSEL IN
GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS.
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER
EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.
