AT 812 AM PDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS
INDICATING AN AREA OF SHOWERS MOVING ACROSS LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO
THE NORTHWEST AT JUST UNDER 15 MPH. THIS AREA IS EXPECTED TO MOVE
INTO THE PASADENA AND ALHAMBRA AREAS WITHIN THE HOUR AND POSSIBLY
CONTINUE INTO THE BURBANK AND GLENDALE AREAS SHORTLY THEREAFTER.
THESE SHOWERS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OF AROUND A
THIRD OF AN INCH PER HOUR WHICH COULD PRODUCE BRIEF LOCALIZED
FLOODING OF ROADWAYS. ALTHOUGH LIGHTNING HAS YET TO BE DETECTED
WITH THIS CELL ...IT STILL MAY PRODUCE DANGEROUS LIGHTNING OVER
THE NEXT HOUR OR SO. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY
DEVELOP AND RE- DEVELOP THROUGH THE DAY AND THIS EVENING.
