.MORNING SHOWERS AND STORMS MAY AGAIN DISRUPT TEMPERATURE RISES
DURING THE MORNING HOURS...THIS TIME ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS...
FAR WESTERN MISSOURI...AND ESPECIALLY NORTHWEST MISSOURI. HOWEVER
THESE STORMS AND THEIR ASSOCIATED CLOUD COVER SHOULD LIFT NORTH
OF THE REGION BY EARLY AFTERNOON...ALLOWING FOR RAPID RISES IN
TEMPERATURE AND INCREASED LOCAL MOISTURE WHERE PRECIPITATION HAS
RECENTLY OCCURRED...AND HELPING HEAT INDICES QUICKLY RISE TO A
DANGEROUS LEVEL. AS A RESULT...THE EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING WILL
