THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEDFORD HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS MORNING. AN
AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM PST
SATURDAY.

* DENSE FOG: AREAS OF DENSE ARE EXPECTED IN THE
  ROGUE...APPLEGATE...AND ILLINOIS VALLEYS THIS
  MORNING...ESPECIALLY ALONG INTERSTATE 5 FROM MEDFORD TO GRANTS
  PASS. EXPECT SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITY TO EFFECT
  DRIVING.

* SYNOPSIS: HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE OVER THE REGION THROUGH AT
  LEAST SATURDAY MORNING CONTINUING LOW LEVEL INVERSIONS AND
  GENERALLY STAGNANT AIR. THE HIGH WILL WEAKEN SLIGHTLY TODAY
  RESULTING IN SOME IMPROVEMENT IN VERTICAL MIXING...BUT NOT
  ENOUGH TO COMPLETELY MIX OUT THE STAGNANT AIR IN THE WEST SIDE
  VALLEYS. THE INVERSION IS EXPECTED TO STRENGTHEN AGAIN TONIGHT
  INTO THE WEEKEND BEFORE DISSIPATING EARLY NEXT WEEK.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: GRANTS PASS...CAVE JUNCTION...MEDFORD...
  ASHLAND...DRAIN...ELKTON...ROSEBURG...SUTHERLIN...GREEN...
