...STRONG SOUTHEAST WINDS FOR SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA...

.A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL AND
SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO
7 PM CDT AND COVERS AN AREA ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM MORRIS
TO OLIVIA TO NEW ULM TO FAIRMONT. SOUTHEAST WINDS ARE FORECAST TO
INCREASE TO 30 TO 35 MPH BY LATE MORNING AND PERSIST THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON. WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE ALSO EXPECTED. THE STRONG
WINDS ARE IN ADVANCE OF A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING INTO THE
PLAINS.

* TIMING...LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON.

* WINDS...SOUTHEAST AT 30 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
  PROFILE VEHICLES. LOOSE OUTDOOR OBJECTS...SUCH AS TRASH CANS
  AND LAWN FURNITURE MAY BE BLOWN AROUND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 39 MPH OR
GUSTS BETWEEN 45 AND 57 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN
MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
