...STRONG AND GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING...

.A strong Pacific storm system will impact the San Francisco Bay
Area and Monterey Bay Area through Monday night. Southerly winds
in advance of this system will increase through this morning,
especially along the coast and in the hills. Locally strong and
gusty winds will then continue through Monday night. Strongest
winds are anticipated this afternoon and evening as a frontal
boundary gradually moves south through the area. Winds will slowly
diminish late tonight.

...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON
TO 3 AM PST TUESDAY...

* TIMING...Southeast winds increase through this morning and then
  further intensify this afternoon. Strongest southerly winds
  expected this afternoon and evening. Winds diminish late
  tonight.

* WINDS...Sustained southerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 45
  mph. Winds increasing to 25 to 40 mph this afternoon and evening
  with gusts to 60 mph.

* IMPACTS...Winds may be strong enough to cause property damage.
  Strong and gusty winds will make driving difficult, especially
  for drivers of high profile vehicles. Saturated soils will also
  contribute to an increased risk of downed trees and powerlines.
