Offshore Waters Forecast for Hawaii

Hawaiian offshore waters beyond 40 nautical miles out to 240
nautical miles including the portion of the Papahanaumokuakea
Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height
of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than
twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...
A surface trough over the central waters will move slowly west
through midweek, then remain stalled over the far western waters
through the end of the week. An upper-level trough will maintain
the threat of thunderstorms across parts of the waters through
Tuesday. Another upper-level trough will bring the threat of
thunderstorms to the area once again toward the end of the week.
