New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose was
centered near 39N 67W, or about 180 nm SE of Nantucket at 2 PM
EDT this afternoon with maximum winds around 20 kt just to the
SE and NW of the center. Post-Tropical Cyclone Jose will remain
nearly stationary, and dissipate tonight or early Mon.
Otherwise, S to SE swell from Hurricane Maria will impact the
area tonight and through much of the upcoming week. Also, a high
pressure ridge will persist inland just NW of the waters tonight
into Mon then weaken over New England Mon night into Tue.
Hurricane Maria is expected to track N and then turn E and NE,
passing through the southern and central Mid- Atlantic waters Mon
into Thu night. Refer to the latest National Hurricane Center
advisory for Hurricane Maria. A cold front will pass SE across
the region later Thu into Thu night. A high pressure ridge will
build in from the west Fri and Fri night.

.TONIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 15 kt, becoming variable. Seas
3 to 6 ft.
.MON...Variable winds less than 5 kt, becoming S to SE. Seas
4 to 7 ft. Areas of fog with VSBY 1 nm or less.
.MON NIGHT...S to SW winds less than 10 kt. Seas 5 to 8 ft.
Areas of fog with VSBY 1 nm or less.
.TUE...Variable winds less than 10 kt, becoming S to SW. Seas
5 to 9 ft. Areas of fog with VSBY 1 nm or less.
