The winter storm that began Thursday morning, Jan. 19, with the first
wave impacting western Colorado and eastern Utah with snowfall, ended
early this morning as the second wave moved out of the area.

The following reports are preliminary and are considered unofficial. The
first section containing the mountain ranges are mostly from automated
sensors, while the second section is a combination of various reports,
some of which are 24, 48 or 72 hour values.

Northwest Colorado Mountains:
Elkhead and Park Ranges.......5 to 13 inches, but 18 at Rabbit Ears
Flat Tops.....................6 to 11 inches, but 14 at Ripple Creek

West Central Colorado Mountains:
Grand Mesa....................13 to 25 inches
Gore and Elk Ranges...........6 to 16 inches, but 18 at Vail Mtn
West Elk and Sawatch Ranges...7 to 15 inches

Southwest Colorado Mountains:
Uncompahgre Plateau...........27 to 32 inches
Northwest San Juan Mountains..6 to 20 inches
Southwest San Juan Mountains..15 to 25 inches, 34 at Mancos & Black Mesa

Eastern Utah Mountains:
Eastern Uintas................T to 2 inches
Eastern Tavaputs..............8 to 10 inches
La Sal and Abajos.............20 to 30 inches, with 39 at Camp Jackson
