...REPAIRS FOR CHAMPAIGN NOAA WEATHER RADIO SCHEDULED FOR
MONDAY...

The NOAA Weather Radio station serving Champaign, WXJ-76 on a

degraded state for the last couple weeks. Due to failed equipment
on the antenna, the signal is only extending a few miles from
the transmitter site, which is located on the WDWS radio tower.

Replacement parts have been obtained, and arrangements have been
made for technicians to climb the antenna tower to repair the
problem. This repair is scheduled for Monday, November 20th,
weather permitting.
