Water levels can be expected to remain a little high on the Coldwater
River...Little Tallahatchie Canal...Tallahatchie River...Tombigbee River
and the Yalobusha River.


At 11 AM Thursday, the stage on the Coldwater River near Sarah was
13.4 feet and falling. Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

At 11 AM Thursday, the stage on the Coldwater River at Marks was 36.0
feet and rising. Flood stage is 39.0 feet.

At 11 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tallahatchie River near Lambert
was 28.4 feet and rising. Flood stage is 32.0 feet.

At 11 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tallahatchie River at Locopolis
was 29.7 feet and falling. Flood stage is 33.0 feet.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tallahatchie River near Swan Lake
was 21.4 feet and rising. Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

At 11 AM Thursday, the stage on the Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta
was 22.9 feet and falling. Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Yalobusha River at Calhoun City
was 16.5 feet and falling. Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tombigbee River near Fulton was
16.6 feet and falling. Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tombigbee River at Bigbee was
12.0 feet and rising. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. At 13.0 feet,
Bottomland flooding is occurring..

At 10 AM Thursday, the stage on the Tombigbee River near Amory was
18.4 feet and falling. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. At 20.0 feet,
Lowland flooding begins..

The next River Statement will be issued when conditions
warrant.
