HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

1120 AM PDT MON MAY 2 2016

Unseasonably warm weater is expected to return to the region by
Sunday and persist through much of the week. This will result in
another round of abundant snow melt and runoff which will lead to
significant rises on many of the rivers near the Cascades. The runoff
will be further enhanced by rain from showers and thunderstorms between
Tuesday through Thursday. Flooding will be possible by late week on the
Okanogan River near Tonasket.
