Hydrologic Statement
National Weather Service Pittsburgh PA
936 AM EST Sun Jan 21 2018

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Widespread light drizzle was falling across the region during
the past 24 hours.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is
forecast to range from 0.25 to 0.75 inches.

River trends...
All rivers and streams can be expected to rise over the next 48
hours in response to the snowmelt and rainfall runoff. Some
locations are expected to reach action stages.

Ice remains on most area rivers and streams and can be expected
to move or shift. This ice is affecting the stage readings at many
locations. The river forecasts are based on what the river stage
would be without the ice.
