High water levels are expected on the following river:

The Marmaton River near Nevada. Flood stage is 20.0 feet. The latest
stage was 18.3 feet at 10 AM Thursday. The river levels will slowly fall today.
People should be aware of the latest river levels...and prepare for possible
warnings.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
