...Elevated Fire Weather Concern Today...

Breezy southwesterly winds, unseasonably warm temperatures, and
dry conditions will result in an elevated fire weather concern
today. Afternoon humidity values will fall between 25 to 30
percent with southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts. With
grasses cured and fine fuels already very dry from weeks of
little or no rain, the gusty winds and low humidity values will
lead to an increased fire danger across the area. Outdoor burning
is discouraged until winds decrease and humidity values increase
this evening.
