The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Morton County in southwestern Kansas...
  Stevens County in southwestern Kansas...

* Until 1030 PM CDT

* At 927 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast
  of Richfield, or 14 miles south of Johnson City, moving southeast
  at 40 mph. Other strong storms were developing around the main
  severe storm, which could also become severe across the warned
  area.

  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hugoton, Elkhart, Rolla, Moscow, Richfield, Feterita, Wilburton,
  Cave, Woods, Point of Rocks at Cimarron Grassland and Cimarron
  Grassland Recreation Area.
