...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EASTERN LEE COUNTY IS
CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM EDT
FOR CLARENDON...EAST CENTRAL SUMTER AND SOUTHEASTERN ORANGEBURG
COUNTIES...

At 435 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Sardis to 9 miles west of Salters to near Eadytown to
6 miles west of Cross, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Manning, Holly Hill, Turbeville, Eutawville and Shiloh.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

If on or near Lake Marion, get away from the water and move indoors
or inside a vehicle. remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now!  Do not
be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
