...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW ISSUED FOR THE CAMAS PRAIRIE
FROM MIDDAY SATURDAY TO SUNDAY MORNING...

.A VERY MOIST PACIFIC STORM WILL BEGIN TO IMPACT THE REGION
SATURDAY. THIS WILL BRING SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS OF
SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL IDAHO...AND ALSO THE CAMAS PRAIRIE. WARM
AIR WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY...
RAISING THE SNOW LEVEL TO AROUND 5000 FEET IN NORTHERN VALLEY
COUNTY...AND AROUND 7000 FEET IN SOUTHERN BOISE AND ELMORE
COUNTIES. THIS WILL CHANGE THE SNOW TO RAIN IN MANY AREAS. THE
ADVISORY GOES UNTIL 11 AM SUNDAY IN THE WEST-CENTRAL AND BOISE
MOUNTAINS...BUT ONLY UNTIL 5 AM SUNDAY ON THE CAMAS PRAIRIE. THIS
IS BECAUSE THE WARM AIR WILL WORK ITS WAY INTO THE CAMAS PRAIRIE
AND CHANGE THE SNOW TO RAIN SOMETIME EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

SUNDAY.

* SNOW AMOUNTS...FROM 5 TO 9 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS...UP TO 30
  INCHES ABOVE 7000 FEET.

* SNOW LEVELS...INITIALLY 4000 FEET...RISING TO A RANGE OF 5000
  TO 7000 FEET BY SUNDAY MORNING.

* WINDS...LESS THAN 10 MPH IN THE VALLEYS. GUSTING TO 30 MPH ON
  RIDGES ABOVE 7000 FEET.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL MOVE IN FROM THE WEST LATE SATURDAY MORNING
  AND BECOME MODERATE SATURDAY AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL
  BE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. WITH RISING SNOW
  LEVELS...SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL WILL END AROUND MIDDAY SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW-PACKED AND DANGEROUS.
